Important Note:
- Cross Country meets cannot be cloned.
Steps:
- Log In
- Log in to your coach/admin account and select the Meet Manager tab.
- If you do not have the meet manager tab, please contact us at https://support.directathletics.com/en.
- Create New Meet
- Select Create New Meet.
- Enter the Meet Name.
- Select the home team from the drop-down menu.
- Select the appropriate registration type:
- Standard Online Registration: Commonly used. Allows event creation and lets coaches select athletes for each event.
- Roster Registration: Coaches declare attending athletes but not specific events. Events cannot be added to meet registration.
- Venue and Dates
- Choose the appropriate venue from the drop-down menu labeled Course.
- If you do not see the venue you wish to select, please contact us at https://support.directathletics.com/en.
- Enter the start and end dates for registration.
- Choose the appropriate venue from the drop-down menu labeled Course.
- Team Entry Settings
- Select the types of teams allowed to enter the meet. Team types not selected will be unable to register.
- Entry Fees
- Enter desired settings for entry fees if collecting registration fees online. Contact https://support.directathletics.com/en. if this setting is unavailable.
- Individual Pricing: Applicable only if individuals are allowed to register.
- Team Pricing:
- Flat Rate Pricing for All Teams: Add a price in "Price per Team" and leave Price per Athlete blank.
- Charge per Athlete up to a Team Cap: Add Price per Athlete, Price per Team (team cap), and Minimum athletes for team price.
- Example: $20 per athlete, $150 per team, 5 athlete minimum. Charges $20 per athlete up to 4 athletes, then $150 for 5 or more.
- Charge per Athlete (no team fee): Add Price per Athlete and leave Price per Team blank.
- Select required or optional next to payment features to enable payment for your meet.
- Enter desired settings for entry fees if collecting registration fees online. Contact https://support.directathletics.com/en. if this setting is unavailable.
- Meet Type
- Select Open or Invitational:
- Open: Any teams or athletes can enter.
- Invitational: Only invited teams or leagues can enter.
- Select Open or Invitational:
- Review and Submit
- Review all information and click submit.
- Add Events
- Click the green add events tab at the bottom of the meet page.
- Name the race (e.g., Varsity Boys 5k, Girls 1 Mile run).
- Set the max athletes per team (cap on athletes one team can add)- this is optional.
- Select the correct gender.
- Enter the race distance.
- Set the max teams (registration closes when the limit is met)- this is optional.
- Click submit when finished and repeat for other events.
- Note: Registration will not begin until events are added.
- Schedule Teams
- Click the green schedule button at the top of the meet page.
- If the meet is an invitational, click edit registration method and enter the invited teams or leagues.
Additional Notes:
- Ensure all fields are filled correctly to avoid issues with meet registration.
- Double-check payment settings to ensure accurate fee collection.
