- Log in to your coach/admin account.
- Select the Meet Manager tab.
- Choose From Scratch.
- Enter the Meet Name.
- Select the home team from the drop-down menu.
- Choose the appropriate registration type (Note: Once chosen and saved, this cannot be changed):
- Standard Online Registration: Select this if you want coaches to declare their athletes for events and provide seed times. Only declared athletes will be downloaded. This is best for meets requiring coaches to declare entries and/or seed times.
- Roster Registration: Select this if you want coaches to declare which athletes will attend, without specifying events. You cannot add events to your meet registration with this option.
- Enter the start and end date of the meet.
- Select the Venue. If the venue is not listed, reach out to us at https://support.directathletics.com/en
- Select gender
- Enter the start and end date for registration.
- Select the types of teams (high school, college, individuals) allowed to enter.
- Set Entry Fees (optional):
- Select Payee: If you cannot change the payee, contact support@directathletics.com for assistance.
- Individual Entry (for unattached entries): Choose Charge per athlete or Per Entry. If Charge per athlete is chosen, enter the amount in the Charge Per Athlete box. If Price Per Entry is chosen, enter the fee for each event during event creation.
- Team Entry: Choose Charge per Athlete or Per Entry. If “Charge per Athlete” is chosen, enter the amount in the Price Per Athlete box. Next, enter the max per gender team fee and the number of athletes at which you will cap the fee (e.g., $50 per athlete with a max cap of $500 after 7 athletes).
- Note: Select required or optional next to the payment features to enable payment for your meet. Unattached individual fee cannot be different from team individual fee.
- Select Open or Invitational:
- Open: Any teams or athletes can enter your meet.
- Invitational: Only invited teams or leagues can enter your meet.
- If you want to use official performances for entries, select USE OFFICIAL PERFORMANCES FOR ENTRIES and choose the appropriate option.
- Review all information and click Submit to save your meet.
- To add events, click the green Add Events tab at the bottom of the meet page:
- Select an Event from the drop-down menu.
- Choose a gender.
- Fill out any additional necessary fields.
- If you want athletes/teams to pay per entry, this is where you would add that information
- Note: Registration will not begin until you have added events.
If your meet is an invitational, click Edit Registration Method and enter the teams or leagues invited to the meet.
